The BAC Presents Spring 2014 dance season kicks off in March with Spain's Rocío Molina, presented in partnership with Flamenco Festival New York. Celebrated as one of the greatest modern flamenco artists of our time, Molina performs the U.S. Premiere of Afectos, a collaboration with acclaimed cantaora Rosario "La Tremendita." Joined onstage by bassist Pablo Martín, the fiery dancer and powerful singer weave movement and music into a series of intimate, emotive vignettes.

Choreographers Lee Sher and Saar Harari were in residence at BAC in Spring 2013, developing a new work rooted in Gaga movement in collaboration with their company of international dancers. What began as creative exploration in one of BAC's studios will now have its New York Premiere in April on the stage of the Howard Gilman Performance Space. Princess Crocodile draws on themes of adolescence and womanhood, exploring the fragile path to self-discovery.

"The work of the Israeli-born couple Lee Sher and Saar Harari is inventive and arresting"
