 Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance invites you to a SPRING SOIREE, a special, one night only event to kick off the company's 2011 Salon Series.  The goal of the Salon Series is to create an intimate and engaging performance experience and to create a dialog between enthusiasts of dance, live music, and the visual arts.  Performances take place in the spring and fall of each year.

The SPRING SOIREE will feature contemporary ballet repertory by CLD, including a preview of an exciting collaboration with composer Guillermo Brown.  Pianist Kenneth Hamrick and percussionist Kyle Olson will perform their original music live during the event as well.  A wine reception will follow the performance, giving audience members a chance to meet and mingle with these exceptional artists.  All of this will take place in the beautiful main gallery of the Chelsea Art Museum, so that  the interplay between visual and performing arts can be explored.
