Spring Together is a concert of multi-disciplinary works made in response to two germinal dances by Janet Aisawa and Beth Soll, who also directed this event. In the making of their solos, Soll and Aisawa were influenced by each other’s dances, and, in turn, they invited artists from other disciplines to create work in an open-ended response to these original dances. You will see work by visual artist Elisa Decker, Baroque Fusion choreographer Carlos Fittante, film artist Andrew Gurian, John Nichter lighting designer, costume designer Sally Ann Parsons, musician Jeff Platz, poet Raphael Simons, and playwright Gary Winter.  As indicated in the program, several of these artists have invited other artists, including theater director Meghan Finn, actress Melissa Diaz, dancer Andrew Trego, set designer John Woodrow Kelley, and composers George Crumb and Elias Guzman, to contribute to their pieces, thus enriching the collaborative spirit of the concert.
