"And then it washes everything away" is an inquiry into the transience of human and nature relationships.

What are we doing here? Are we part of nature or against nature? Are we creating or destroying, and what is left at the end? This dance is an exploration of ephemerality of each moment, and how everything comes and goes, just like the waves of the ocean. This project is made possible by the support of the Bronx Council of the Arts.

"Re-visiting" by Selma Trevino of Corporeal Arts Inc. is an investigation project with the goal to re-stage works that had a high impact in Trevino's artistic career. She started the process in the fall 2021 and was a recipient of the “Incubator Grant” by LEIMAY at CAVE in Brooklyn. On November 16th, she performed my first results at the Dixon Place, part of the Crossing Boundaries series, the “Washerwoman” composition, one of the most known of Etienne Decroux's repertoire. Continuing, she is re-visiting her own composition created in 1997 from Decroux’s technique Corporeal Mime principals, Spring 2020. Re-visiting her own work during the pandemic lockdown, gave a sense of life and security as well as nostalgia of good times. The intention is to communicate emotions in simple settings, as it was to do video performances from home.
