The Ailey Experience gives teen dancers from around the world the opportunity to train and perform in a variety of techniques. Held at the home of the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, participating instructors are prominent New York choreographers and teachers who are committed to offering a unique dance experience for all levels. The Ailey Experience is designed to embody the diversity of the Ailey dancer with technique classes in ballet, Horton, contemporary, hip-hop, West African, and Broadway jazz, while introducing dancers to an exciting world of choreography, creativity, and fun in a non-competitive environment. All levels are welcome. Students can sign up for Week 1, Week 2, or the complete 2-Week Ailey Experience workshop.
This program will culminate with a performance for family & friends in the Ailey Studios!
