The Samsara Suites is a dramatic exploration of the struggle to seek spiritual peace within a mechanized, capitalist society.

Composed and directed by Caeser Pink, and featuring Ballerina Marissa Frey and Butoh Dancer Rosenaldo Benitez.

The Samsara Suites musical score is an exciting contemporary classical work that will be performed by the IO String Quartet, three percussionists, and a pianist playing an analog Moog synthesizer and a digital sampling keyboard.

Also being performed will be an experimental musical work titled Evolution. Based on Indeterminate musical theories pioneered by composers such as John Cage and Steve Reich, the work mixes composed elements with improvisations within a fixed set of rules. The piece will not be rehearsed by the musicians and could sound very different each time it is performed. The process could create a work of musical beauty, or become a complete disaster. We won’t know until the performance happens.

Caeser Pink is a multimedia artist best known for his work with the group Caeser Pink & The Imperial Orgy.
