THE SCENE: a secret experiment, a mind-testing laboratory disguised as a dinner party. The "guests" are unaware of their situation. The "party" shifts between a stark laboratory environment and a lavish palace ambiance.
THE SUBJECT MATTER: the piece exposes the forces that underline human behavior. It moves seamlessly between realism and abstraction, merging non-concrete and "recognizable person" gesture. It ultimately surveys the spheres and expressions of identity and illustrates the inquiries into perception and truth.
shadows, neurology, kings and queens, manipulation, control, forks, knives, pillows, guns, bandages, closets, exposure, soldiers, a memory: are being taken into consideration for this project.
