TRIBE presents Touch of RED: RECOLLECTION, a documentary screening directed by Taylor Antisdel that offers an intimate look into the creation and evolution of Shamel Pitts’ acclaimed multidisciplinary performance work Touch of RED. Combining rehearsal footage, performance excerpts, and behind-the-scenes reflection, the film explores vulnerability, intimacy, Black masculinity, and human connection through the collaborative creative process shared by Pitts and performer Channce Williams. The screening provides a rare glimpse into TRIBE’s artistic practice and the development of a work that has become a cornerstone of Pitts’ ongoing RED Series.
