Trisha Brown Dance Company will stream a new recording of Trisha’s You can see us (1995) on its website from Oct 19-26 featuring dancers Cecily Campbell and Jamie Scott.
For the past several weeks, Cecily and Jamie have been rehearsing together over Zoom: Cecily from Santa Fe, NM and Jamie from Beacon, NY. The collaboration has resulted in a gorgeous recorded virtual performance of You Can See Us. The video begins with Jamie Scott dancing at Starn Studios in Beacon then cuts to Cecily Campbell at the Santa Fe Railyard dancing with Jamie's projected image on a water tower looming above her, thus performing together.
