Triskelion Arts is pleased to present BOOM BAT GESTURE’s performance piece, BLANKLAND!, this Spring in the Muriel Schulman Theater. Join BBG on an adventure through Blankland, a fantastical world inhabited by strange and deranged creatures. In Blankland, the sun’s always shining and the blood’s always dripping, so grab your plastic sheets and strap on your goulashes for a wade through the Gory Marshes. Sing songs with Stab and Blank, learn about all the things you can do with your body, and enjoy a cuppa with the Pippy Butts. You might even get a visit from one the Seniors! The fun never ends when death is around every corner. Like the old song says, “All you need is blood!”
BLANKLAND! is the latest work from BOOM BAT GESTURE Performance Group. Looking back on programs and media that delighted them as children, the company has found that the world was perhaps more disturbing than they first imagined.
