Triskelion Arts is pleased to present a full evening of work by the incomparable Cocoon Central Dance Team for the very first time this January. In keeping with traditions of small-town dance recitals everywhere, Cocoon Central Dance Team (Tallie Medel, Sunita Mani, and Eleanore Pienta) presents Snowy Bing Bongs Across The North Star Combat Zone. Abundant with rich, chocolaty nougats, CCDT is deliciously absurd and precise in their character-driven dance routines, with their new work and video content featuring their hyper-earnest “talent show” quality.

“Cocoon Central Dance Team is a rare and wonderful thing, which is a group that is so unique that it cannot be confused with any other act, but also so entertaining and delightful that it brightens any show.” — Caroline Creaghead, CREAGHEAD & COMPANY

“In a world of web series about messy buns and quirky dating experiences, Cocoon is a shocking ray of unfiltered joy and true showwomanship. They are hip without being oppressive and old school without being cheeky.”— John Early, SHOWGASM

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
