Vanessa Walters/Ripening returns to Triskelion Arts with "Ripening – Seedlings", a foray into the infinitesimal. Inspired by Vanessa’s favorite childhood book, "The Adventures of Snugglepot & Cuddlepie" by May Gibbs, "Seedlings" creates a microcosm of blossoms, sprouts, burrs, and acorns, a playground for time-bending, ritual, and revelry. Ripening’s “She- Yeti’s Dream” (2015) metamorphoses into this lush botanical world of merriment and danger to welcome spring wholeheartedly. Collaborators and performers include Lynn Barr, Katie Dorn, Dena Fischer, Kyle Gerry, Brian Gonzalez, Gwendolyn Gussman, Maneesh Raj Madahar, Vincent McCloskey, David Quinn, Curtis Tamm, Trevor Vaughn, Michelle Yard, Karen Young, and Omar Zubair.
