This May, Jody Sperling embarks on an Arctic voyage aboard the US Coast Guard Cutter Healy. She'll be accompanying a scientific expedition as the vessel's first ever choreographer-in-residence. Join us for two studio performances anticipating this adventure.
Program features a preview of Sperling's new solo to be performed on Arctic sea ice. Time Lapse Dancers Jenny Campbell, Sarah Chien, Maya Orchin, Krissy Tate and Chriselle Tidrick also perform repertory works. The event includes a discussion about the upcoming expedition and concludes with a send-off party on Friday evening.
