Producing Artistic Director Miya Hisaka Silva, presents a powerful, passionate and diverse program of classical and contemporary Latin American Dance revealing the unspoken stories from El Salvador, Cuba, Mexico to Columbia. One of Washington, DC's first Latin American Dance Festivals, the festival also celebrates the long awaited return of Salvadoran Co-Founder of TDC, Francisco Castillo. TDC proudly presents this historical collaborative event and brings together internationally recognized virtuoso artists and world premieres choreographed by: Francisco Castillo; Gloria Contreras (Director of Taller Coregrafico de UNAM, Mexico), Fidel Garcia (formerly with Dance Theatre of Harlem), and Alvaro Palau (formerly with Washington Ballet), among a list of dynamo artists!
