Valentina Kozlova presents her Dance Conservatory in its annual Gala, June 19 at 7 PM at Symphony Space. On the heels of the Kozlova International Ballet Competition, the Gala will feature a few medalists and scholarship winners from the Competition in dances from La Sylphide, La Bayadere, Le Corsair, and other classics, along with contemporary dances and an excerpt from Margo Sappington's sassy "For Ella." Kozlova herself will perform "Isadora" with Vitaly Verterich. Created especially for Kozlova by Margo Sappington to music by Rachmaninoff, the dance is inspired by Isadora Duncan.
