The Valentina Kozlova Dance Conservatory will hold its Spring Gala, with the students joined by several medalists from the recent Kozlova International Ballet Competition.
The program will include La Esmeralda Grand Pas de Deux, danced by Nikita Boris and Ruben Rascon (guest from the New Jersey Ballet). Boris is a Gold Medalist, and last year received a scholarship to the Vaganova School in St. Petersburg Russia, awarded by Nikolai Tsiskaridze. Rascon will also partner Silver medalist Mari Bell in the Calvary Halt Pas de Deux.
Also on the program excerpts from La Bayadere, Petipa Variations, and contemporary dances created for the students by Nina Buisson.
