Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition
The 15th edition of the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition will take place March 17-21. Over 150 dancers from countries around the world, from Poland to Portugal, will gather in NY to dance for company contracts, dance academy scholarships, and medals, performing before a panel of international judges led by Nina Ananiashvili. Rounds in classical ballet and contemporary dance will take place March 17, 18 & 19, all starting at 1 PM and running until approx. 7 PM, at New York Live Arts. Audience members may arrive, and take breaks, during those hours with presentation of their tickets. An additional event will take place Friday March 20, with Kozlova coaching senior dancers on stage, starting at 3 PM. For specifics about the daily schedules please visit www.vkibc.org
