Vanaver Caravan presents "Into The Light"
Company:
Vanaver Caravan; Arm-of-the-Sea Theater
Into the Light is a collaborative dance/theater production performed with Arm-of-the-Sea Theater. It features the Caravan’s dancers and musicians and Arm-of-the-Sea’s signature masks and puppet figures in the coming-of-age story about a girl named Lucia, a radiant and full of spirit in the summer of her youth. As the winter approaches and the sun light diminishes, so does Lucia’s inner light. In the throes of despair, Lucia is redirected by a special friend who happens to be a Bear. The two set out on a journey of discovery filled with enchanting and festive dance, music and puppetry as Lucia is guided through the world’s communities to see how light is kept glowing through the darkest part of the year.
