DancEthos and Joy of Motion Dance Center present Part and Parcel on March 2nd and 3rd at Joy of Motion Dance Center's intimate Jack Guidone Theater in DC. Join DancEthos for an evening of dance exploring not just the performance, but the process, and not only the artists’ viewpoints but also the audience’s. Choreographers Tiffany Haughn, Mat Elder, Kelly Fisher and Meredith Barnes are featured in a concert that emphasizes how the audience is an essential and integral part of the performance experience. The performance promotes audience interaction and feedback by offering them the opportunity to ask questions of the choreographer, as well as listen to the creator’s thoughts on the intent of the work and the choreographic process. The show also features guest company DanceArtTheater and JOMDC’s adult performing ensemble LEAP.
