WASHINGTON DC: The DC (District Choreographers) Dance Festival
The District Choreographers (DC) Dance Festival is a two-day festival in celebration of the DMV’s rich dance community. This ticketed festival along 8th ST NE offers guided walking tours of site-specific work by local DMV artists and a theater presentation hosted by Creative Arts Teen Leaders Mandy Johnson and Samiya Evans.
The festival features over 10 choreographers along with dancers from the DMV area and will take place in 3 parts along 8th ST NE beginning at the Edgewood Arts Center and finishing in the Carfritz Theater at Dance Place. Following the theater presentation on Saturday, we hope you will join us on the Arts Park for a Champagne Toast as we raise a glass to another new season at Dance Place.
