This class will explore how individuals and groups embody and exchange energy. We will keep an open mind about how energy is present, sensed, and works as a source in us. Chakra and breathing exercises, next to bodywork and improvisation protocols, will open up possibilities to engage in choreographic dynamics resonating from Mårten Spångberg’s recent works and address specific forms of inspiration, collaboration, presence, emotion, and spirituality. The second half will be an exploration of Mårten Spångberg’s recent work and repertory, incorporating ideas of ‘dance as object’ and delegated decision making
