Workshop with Master Rafael Bianciotto, Director of Zephiro Theater in Paris

New York Mask & Clown Workshop is pleased to announce that Rafael Bianciotto is coming to New York this July and will be teaching a 6-day intermediate/advanced workshop. The workshop is primarily for people who have taken a workshop with us before, but we are opening it up to a few students who are beginners.  For those of you who don't know Rafael, he is the founder of the NY Mask and Clown Workshop, along with Carine Montbertrand and is a truly inspiring, playful, exacting, and wonderful teacher. He directs Zephiro Theatre, a Paris-based theater company that incorporates mask, clown, and puppetry into its productions. The intermediate workshop will begin with a refresher of Le Choeur and then move more quickly to character births and interactions in the context of games and improvisatory scene work. The workshop will be held from 6:30 to 10 pm each night from Monday, July 12 through Saturday, July 17 in NYC at Access Theater on Broadway near Canal Street. The number of students is limited to 18, so register as soon as you can. It will fill up! The cost is 25, with early bird rate of 75 for those who register by June 10
