Born in Cordoba, El Keko has performed with the companies of Javier Baron, Maria Pages, Eva La Yerbabuena, and Javier La Torre. He toured internationally collaborating as invited guest artist with Vicente Amigo, "El Pele", Manuel Silverio, Manolo Franco and Nino de Pura in the show "Compadres". In 1998 he won the Prize Juana La Macarrona for Alegrias in the XV Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco de Cordoba, following with 2nd Prize in the Festival Nacional del Cante de Las Minas 2001 and 1st Prize in Choreography in the Concurso Nacional del Cante de las Minas 2001 and 2005.
