Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company has welcomed the Chinese New Year at NJPAC since the opening of the Newark venue. This year the Company celebrates The Year of the Dragon, joined by the Chinese Music Ensemble of New York. Festivities include the Dragon Dance, Dance of the Heavenly Flower Maiden, Double Lions Welcoming the Spring, and many others. Program alsofeatures the premiere of "Whirlwind" created in collaboration with 4-time Grammy winner, renowned composer and world percussionist Glen Velez. January 21 at 2 & 7 PM; January 22 at 2 PM at NJPAC, One Centre Street, Newark, New Jersey.
