Yoshiko Chuma presents The School of Hard Knock’s "Secret Journey to Tipping Utopia"

Company:
92nd Street Y
Musicians, dancers and artists initially interact indirectly in an imagined community that possesses highly desirable or nearly perfect qualities, a utopia.
This perfect “place” is one without problems but incidents of sound, text and action, the metaphor for the endless continuous circles of life, fluctuate between expressions of utopia and war.
Conceptual artist, choreographer and artistic director of The School of Hard Knocks and a firebrand in NYC’s postmodern scene since the 1980s, Yoshiko Chuma continues to delight and surprise with Secret Journey to Tipping Utopia.
