We at ZviDance are intensely focused now, immersed in a creative process as we prepare for our home season, coming in June! Please SAVE THE DATE and come have a peek at what we have been “brewing” the past couple of months.
The company will premiere “Sky and Water,” a work inspired by the art of M. C. Escher, and will also bring back the favorite from last season, "DABKE". “Perfect examples of his [Gotheiner] thoughtful dancemaking” (The New Yorker).
This year the Company will join forces with Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance and Dusan Tynek Dance Theater to produce a mini-festival of dance and music titled:

Standing Ovations!
ZviDance enjoyed warm receptions by audiences in Cincinnati, OH and Rockville, MD.
In February, in spite of a snow storm weather the Company performed "ZOOM" for full houses at the beautiful Aronoff Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In the beginning of May, the Company received standing ovations for "DABKE" at the American Dance Institute in Rockville, Maryland, as part of their Israeli Contemporary Dance series.
In addition, during March and April, Zvi set his early work “Chairs” on the Steps on Broadway’s Ensemble. In his review of the Ensemble at the Ailey Theater, Darrel Wood wrote: "Zvi Gotheiner’s 'Chairs' has moments of genius."
