In the twisted world of newyou, all is not what it seems as the cast of five performers embrace their surreal surroundings and attempt to find happiness -- at any cost. Based on choreographer Johannes Wieland's fascination of deceit and our desire for achieving a positive mental and emotional state ultimately built on lies, newyou is a dance theater piece which begs the question:
is the presence of denial and its diversified outcomes necessarily a bad thing?
