BODYSONNET presents New York Now, our inaugural performance as a New York based company.
New York Now is a program of three dynamic revivals of works celebrating connection, resilience, and the multiplicity of identity. The evening includes newave, a duet by Mio Ishikawa to music by Tushrik Fredericks, danced by Ian Debono and Matthew Spangler. x dance, a solo performed and created by Moscelyne ParkeHarrison, and ParkeHarrison’s say i am you. Originally performed by Post:ballet in 2022, say i am you will be revived with dancers Ny Opong, Colin Frederick, Miriam Gittens, Quaba Ernest, Ashley Green, Lieana Sherry and Marcus Sarjeant.
