The evening begins with a preview performance by Gibney Company at 6:00 PM at The Joyce Theater featuring On Contemplation of Wailing, a meditation on loss and collective resilience by Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, founder of Urban Bush Women. Alongside it is Canto Ostinato (2015) by Gibney Company Resident Choreographer Lucinda Childs, where hypnotic repetition unfolds in a luminous play of movement and light. Following the program, will be cocktails, a seated dinner, silent auction, and special programming from 7:00–10:00 PM at The Altman Building, just around the corner.
