"I’ll get straight to the point," begins Janet Eilber, Artistic Director of Martha Graham Dance Company in a recent newsletter. "We have recently uncovered a complete film of the ORIGINAL CAST of Appalachian Spring. It is jaw-droppingly beautiful, and its message of community and hope for the future is deeply moving in these strange times.
As part of our 94th birthday week, we’ll be screening this film during our interactive Martha Matinees -- Wednesday and Saturday at 2:30 on our YouTube Channel.

Join me in the live chat with past and present cast members of Appalachian Spring as we watch the historic cast -- Martha Graham, Erick Hawkins, Merce Cunningham, May O’Donnell, Yuriko, Pearl Lang, Marjorie Mazia and Nina Fonaroff -- bring this great American masterpiece to life. See you at the movies!"
