Watching "Cake" made me laugh, cry, and feel human! Along with "The Window Sex Project", the show captured, for me, what it is to be a woman (and a person, really). Women were portrayed as not just victims, but empowered individuals, supporting themselves and each other. The dance felt real, with the unique experiences of the individuals shining through it. Thank you for making dance that brings emotion and activism together!
