Dixon Place is proud to present a dance series, Fast Forward, curated by Sangeeta Yesley, giving opportunity to choreographers of all dance forms to workshop longer, more developed pieces that run 25 - 35 mins. The series takes place 8 times throughout the year and features 2 choreographers or dance companies each evening. Each evening is curated around a theme. Proposed works should be new or recently re-worked with primarily new choreography. If invited to participate, artists should plan to show the same piece as described in their application.
The dance series is presented by Dixon Place, 161A Chrystie Street, btwn Rivington and Delancey, New York, NY 10002, artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a FULLY EQUIPPED PERFORMANCE SPACE measuring 35 ft X 20 ft with a SPRUNG MASONITE FLOOR.
We are now accepting applications for the following 2020 shows.
February 11
March 17
April 14 (tentatively confirmed)
May 19 (tentatively confirmed)
Stipend:
$75 + $25 additional if ticket sale is 80 or more.
