INTERN WANTED FOR DANCE COMPANY - VIDEOGRAPHER
Alternative Synergy The Company (ASTC) is a New York City based dance company that fuses together contemporary and street dance styles. The company's mission is to move beyond the conventional by uniting diverse movements, cultures and people to create a new and unique style of art.The company performs at different venues such as The Bronx Academy of Art, Mark Morris Dance Center and Cielo and has been recognized by prominent artists in the music industry; Lexer and Jidenna being some of the few. ASTC also holds educational workshops and weekly training
We are looking for a videographer to join the team as an intern to document live performances and help create concept videos. This intern must be responsible, highly-motivated and professional, but also fun and interested in exploring ideas out of the box.
Responsibilities include:
- Filming performances
- Shooting concept videos
- Occasional editing
- Must have their own camera equipment
At least one year of experience in filmmaking preferred.
The chosen candidate will join the ASTC crew and be able to take company classes for free.
