Alternative Synergy the Company is now offering workshops!
Alternative Synergy The Company (ASTC) was assembled with risk in mind : taking artists of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds and merging their arts to create a single story and vision. The company's mission is to move beyond the conventional by uniting diverse movements, cultures and people to create a new and unique style of art. Alternative Synergy features the strong emotional and cultural histories of street styles with classical ballet and contemporary movements, while creating narrative performances of universal experiences accessible for people of all backgrounds.
Amanda Spilinga, creator of the Alternative Synergy style, will offer a summer intensive for advanced individuals with a background in any style of dance.
Alternative Synergy is a fusion style, but instead of a combination of one or two styles taught one at a time and performed side by side, AS seamlessly merges music, choreography, grooves, technique and performance art for a unique effect that is breaking boundaries and pushing dancers outside their comfort zone and into uncharted territory.
Join us on Friday, July 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and Saturday, July 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm!
$35 for one workshop
$65 for both workshops
