Class Description:
Windows of the Sky is a workshop taught by Rodrigo Esteva and Mirah Moriarty, founding Directors of the internationally traveled DANCE MONKS based in the SF Bay area and Yucatan, Mexico. They will focus on the ancient acupressure system of the human body as a gateway to access your inner world, initiate healing and regain balance during times of turbulent change. This movement meditation practice includes holding specific points on your own body as a way to fine tune your intuitive listening and sensitize your perception. This class will also incorporate movement and breath as tools for releasing pent up or stagnant emotions and ignite our enlivened relationship with the environment. No previous experience is necessary.
Our festival passes are offered on a donation-based sliding scale, no one will be turned away because of a lack of funds.
