Please join us to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Pauline Koner's birth, one of this country's true pioneering mavericks of modern dance. Pauline set the standards for solo dance artists of the mid-to-late 20th century. She was an artist, visionary, and master choreographer. Pauline performed as Special Guest Artist with The José Limón Dance Company for over 15 years. On Friday, May 17th we will be honoring Pauline at her Centennial Celebration with a performance at the 92nd St. Y Fridays at Noon Series, a free event at 92nd & Lexington Avenue in New York City.

360 will present "The Shining Dark," a work for three women based on the life of Helen Keller which was reconstructed for our Fifth Anniversary season in 2012.

Other works presented are Poéme , Concertino and an excerpt from The Last Farewell performed
by Dancefusion and guests artists of the The José Limón Dance Company.

Distinguished Artists will speak during the celebration and will bring to the forefront Pauline's contributions to modern dance.

*Please Note: Tickets are required for all Fridays at Noon events. Pay what you can or come for free. A portion of this money supports the Harkness Dance Center
