The Platform Kendall is a new 45,000-square-foot cultural destination in Cambridge, MA featuring multiple performance spaces, welcoming public areas, and a vibe that says “stay awhile.” Occupying the first three floors of the new 585 Kendall building in the heart of Kendall Square, Cambridge, The Platform includes the 400-seat Takeda Theater at The Platform, the largest performance space of its kind built in the region in the past 20 years. It also boasts a 125-seat, cabaret-style Tempo Stage located in the building’s lush first floor atrium.
The new theater is helping to address Greater Boston’s longstanding shortage of midsize performance venues, it spaces can host a wide range of creative and community events.
