BETREIBEN II performed by Haus of PVMNT delivers a dramatic abstraction of movement and interpretation of scenes depicted throughout the work of the late artist Robert Mapplethorpe, all set to the music of SOPHIE. This rich and contemporary immersive dance work brings to the New York dance scene the unique and refreshing aesthetic of emerging director-choreographer Christopher Kinsey. The work's non-linear structure, sex-appeal, and the collective's dynamism in each dance take you on a journey reminiscent of magical realism. A definite must-see!
