Have you ever seen this company/ before?
Tell us a bit about your history with this group/performer?

This was my first time seeing a show from this company.

What was your favorite moment(s)? What inspired you?

There were many moment that inspired me.  The first was a piece by Peter Cheng, a physical spirited exploration of isolation. The final piece by Dolly Sfeir which used humor and theatricality to explore  elusive world of dreams.

Describe as plainly and specifically as you can what actually happened during this performance.
We are looking for non-judgmental reporting. No need for complete sentences. Phrases and word lists are fine. YOU CAN DESCRIBE : the artists, their activities, the movement, the qualities of movement, the music, the use of time, the use of space OR anything else you observed.

The show featured a wide array of dance styles and storytelling. The choreographers used tap, modern, musical theater, ballroom, and contempory elements to convey their visions/

Do any images, colors or feelings pop into your head when you think about this show?

Optimism is the overwhelming feeling when I think of the show.  It truly was refreshing to see how the emerging choregraphers were able to use themes we have seem before but present in a refreshing new light as told thru their experiences and point of views.  It was also refreshing to see such talent both on and off stage.

Describe any or all of these elements: music, lighting, the venue.
How did they contribute (or not) to your enjoyment of this performance?

The venue was the perfect dance space.

Would you like to see this performance / company again?
Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Absolutely! This company got me very excited about dance again.  They were not afraid to showcase all styles of dance and take risks on young choreographers.

What would you like to have seen more of? Less of?

I would say to continue exploring all ways genres of dance and take changes on up and coming artists.
